My second review of the year – why it means so much to me.

Posted on

I’ve finished and reviewed Sally’s Size Matters. Sally is my very good friend, but I never EVER allow friendship to have any bearing whatsoever on any book that I read. I have been overly chubby at times in my life – I think most of us have, and I wish that I could have found this book back then, rather than get up to some of the crazy diets I’ve been on. Size Matters covers every single thing that you could ever need to lose a lot of weight, keep it off, and extend your life. This is probably an odd thing to say, but it’s a “comforting” book – you feel that Sally is with you on your trip, because she’s been on it herself. Her honest sharing of her own journey is remarkable. Now I’ll shut up – in fact this is the only review that I’ve ever written that I had to prune down because it got way too long. From a health and wellness perspective everyone should read this, regardless of whether there’s extra poundage or not.
