It’s recently come to my attention then a friend and fellow blogger has been permanently BANNED from WordPress.com.
Jason Cushman’s blog HarsH ReaLiTy is going to be closed down shortly, which is a very sad end to an era of Jason doing so much for the WordPress community, and bringing NEW and PROGRESSIVE ideas into blogging. He is in blogging terms CHARISMA PERSONIFIED. Jason had this to say :
All blogging advice articles will be removed within 24 hours. The meet and greet threads will be removed by the end of next week. I appreciate everyone that has supported this website. –OM

I just saw on Linda G Hill’s blog that the suspension has been lifted Babs – woooot! I followed a thread he posted on a WP forum and was pretty appalled at how nasty it got towards him. He really didn’t deserve any of this, and without any warning too.

I can tell from all of the comments I’m seeing in WP land that this blogger has a lot of support! Iv’e seen him online but not closely followed him.

He’s had his functions reinstated now. I think it’s terrible what happened to him – really scary to think that all you’ve built on your blog can get taken away anytime. Without being able to like or follow anyone blogging would be rather cold. 🙂

I am behind as usual. I thought I had seen something for OM that the ban had been lifted. I didn’t know what had transpired. Now I do. I am glad he is still on. I am a follower, and although I don’t agree with everything he says, he is fun to follow, and I appreciate him following me. 🙂

Impossible to agree with everything he says. 😀 He means no harm though, and he’s a nice talented guy with an interesting sense of humour. Pain does strange things to us sometimes. He makes me smile mostly.

Same here. He has always been courteous to my comments, and never been rude. Heaven knows I can be nasty and mean. I guess that is why I blog. I can say things, but I can monitor how it is said. That way maybe I won’t put my foot in my mouth so often. I still manage to do it in writing too now and then, 😀
