Charles Yallowitz was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but he has spent most of his life wandering his own imagination in a blissful haze. Occasionally, he would return from this world for the necessities such as food, showers, and Saturday morning cartoons. Sadly the later books never do that. It’s a slow start that usually grows as more of the marketing stuff kicks in. I’m fine with that. I think I’m on a bunch of New Release list on Amazon. None of the genre ones though.

How cool that is! I’ve never been on one New Release list. I’m going to buy your books in order when I finish the first one. I’m back to reading every day now, and I’m going at the pace I used to go at before I started writing, so it’s enjoyable and not a stress. I got to the point where I had so many books to review that I tried to read as fast as I could and wasn’t enjoying reading so much. Now it’s fun again.

I need to get some reading in. This week has been simply chaotic with the book release, the birthday, Passover, and my son’s spring recess. I’m probably going to take part, if not all, of next week to relax before tackling the first draft of Book 11.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Sorry I’m late – yesterday was nuts. Hope you got lots of what you wanted. It’s cool when reading doesn’t seem like a chore that you’re obligated to do. I’m really enjoying all I read again. Always been my number one love, so having it seem a chore for a while sucked. Do you read the same genre you write, or others too?

I spent a day at the zoo with the little guy and my dad. Was exhausting, but fun. Though today is shaping up to make me suffer for my fun. I tend to read more fantasy than anything else, but I wander to others if the story seems interesting. The issue is that I’m such a slow reader.

That sounds like lots of fun – used to go to the zoo with my mom a lot – did you remember to take pics for the blog? 😀 Joking. Before I used to read a book in a day, and be seriously disturbed if my next wasn’t lined up. Now it takes longer because of all the other stuff. I loved Piers Anthony’s Xanth series and his Incarnations of Immortality – also anything Asimov. Did you ever read Goblin? First time I ever heard about Dungeons and Dragons – still don’t have a clue where to find D&D though.

My dad took pics, but not for the blog. Right now I’m just trying to survive this last day of spring recess. So much has piled up and the weather is miserable again, so tensions are running high.
Never read Goblin. I used to blow through books when I was younger, but now it feels like I always have to decide between writing and reading.
